Using Snappy Invoice System you may create invoices and sales receipt in a short time without any help from any other software. The software maintains a database containing all the products and customer list. It can generate reports according to your demand. There is a feature named 'Sales Journal' which is used to view the sales trend in a certain period or sales performance by individual sales associate between the value dates. If you have purchased sufficient license to use more than one copy of the Snappy Invoice System at one time, you may install it on a network. The profit analysis feature is useful for determining the amount of profit made on a particular sale.  The feature 'Profit analysis' is performed by analyzing the sales price on each of the items sold on the current invoice against the cost of those items sold as set up on the Products List.

Snappy Invoice System can do much more than just create invoices and save past invoices.  With its built in Sales Journal feature, you have a powerful reporting tool which you can use to show only certain invoices (invoices with a certain date range, or invoices for a particular salesperson, etc.) and then display the results.  Examples of use might be to help you calculate how much sales tax you may have collected during a report period, or to evaluate the sales performance of employees.  It can also help you identify trends and give you a general handle on your sales volume for a particular product or your entire inventory.

Creating invoices is fast and easy, as described in the four steps below.
1) Start a New Invoice.  Select Create a New Invoice from either the friendly menu shown at the top of the screen, or from the File pull-down menu.
2) Add Customer Information [F5].  You can either type the customer information directly onto the invoice, or use a Customer List (which is useful for repeat customers).
3) Add Product(s) Being Purchased [F6]. While you can type the product information directly onto the invoice, it is strongly recommended that you maintain and use a Product List, which ensures you keep data consistent and can help the Snappy Invoice System to perform profit analysis functions for you.
4) Make Any Final Adjustments to the Invoice. The final steps simply involve adjusting the terms of purchase (whether it is Net 30, cash, credit card, etc.), adding a salesperson (if you wish), adjusting any quantities being purchased above the default of "1", etc.  If needed, you can also override any non-computed fields with new data (such as adjusting sales tax, applying a special discount, changing a product description, etc.)

Modifying an existing invoice:
You can easily modify any existing invoice.  First select the invoice you wish to modify via the list box shown on the right of the main screen.  The list box is a particularly useful feature because it prevents you from having to work in "tunnel vision" like so many programs make people do.  If you wish to narrow the list of invoices being shown, or otherwise search for a particular invoice, select the Find Previous Invoice button at the top of the list, or Previous Invoice (Find) from the View pull-down menu on the main screen (a [Ctrl-F] hotkey combination has been designed to do the same thing).  Once you have the invoice on the screen, just edit it as needed.

Saving/copying an existing invoice to a new one:
When you go to save an invoice you have been modifying, the Snappy Invoice System will detect you have made changes to an invoice that has already been saved, and you will be prompted to either save the invoice as a completely new invoice or save the changes made to the existing one.  If you choose to save it as a new invoice, it copies the invoice to a new invoice (and the existing invoice will remain as it was before being modified); otherwise, if you choose to only make changes to the existing invoice, the changes will overwrite the existing invoice.

Preview, print, e-mail and fax:
You can easily preview, print, e-mail and fax one or more invoices with the Snappy Invoice System.  By default, the current invoice being viewed is the one that gets executed.  However, you can perform the operation on multiple invoices at once by selecting multiple invoices from the list box displayed on the right of the main screen.  The multiple invoice selection feature uses standard windows conventions: press Shift and click the mouse or press Shift and one of the arrow keys to extend the selection from the previously selected item to the current item.  Press Ctrl and click the mouse to select or deselect individual items in the list.
The print option can be executed several ways: select Print Invoice from the menu shown at the top of the screen, select "Print" from the File pull-down menu, or use the Ctrl-P shortcut from your keyboard.  Various print options can be selected from the Settings screen (accessed by selecting Settings from the File pull-down menu).  One particular feature that gives you the opportunity to really make your invoices look professional is the ability to make your own header. 

The profit analysis feature is useful for determining the amount of profit made on a particular sale.  Profit analysis is performed by analyzing the sales price on each of the items sold on the current invoice against the cost of those items sold as set up on the Products List.

Maintaining a Customer List
If you have a lot of repeat customers, maintaining a customer list will help you create subsequent invoices for those customers much faster.  You can access the customer list from either the menu shown at the top of the screen, using the View pull-down menu on the main screen or by pressing F5 on your keyboard.  From there, it's just a matter of finding and selecting the customer from the list, or creating a new customer by selecting Add New Customer from the File pull-down menu on the Customer List screen.
You can easily add or delete customers by selecting the appropriate options from the File pull-down menu on the Customer List screen.  If you need to modify the customer list, just select Full Edit Mode from the File pull-down menu.  In full edit mode, you can add new customers, delete existing customers (by deleting the entire line associated with a particular customer), or edit any of the customer information (such as the customer's address).

Maintaining a Product List
You can access the product list from either the menu shown at the top of the screen, using the View pull-down menu on the main screen or by using the F6 shortcut on your keyboard.  If the product being purchased has not yet been added to the product list, select Add New Product from the File pull-down menu on the Product List screen.
Using the Product List has these advantages:
a. You can complete invoices much faster, because you simply have to select the product from a list rather than retype all the information.
b. It ensures your product #'s and names remain consistent, which makes future searches for invoices easier and more accurate.
c. It will enable you to complete the cost of the item being sold (your cost) so that a profit for that particular invoice can be computed by subtracting the COGS from the price charged.  Each invoice can then be very quickly analyzed via the Profit Analysis feature to evaluate profit.

Adding, editing, or deleting products
You can easily add products to the list by selecting Add New Product from the File pull-down menu on the Product List screen.  If you need to modify the product list, just select Full Edit Mode from the File pull-down menu.  In full edit mode you can add new products, delete existing products (by deleting the entire line associated with a particular product), or edit any of the product information.
